Y-Not Split-It/Hose Holder, & Bullet Check Valve
The Y-Not Split-It & Bullet Check Valve are shown here on a JD type Rebounder, kits are also available for IH type Rebounders. How does it work: As the Rebounder places the seeds in the bottom of the furrow, the Y-Not places the fertilizer half way up the sidewall, allowing it to soak into the sidewall and not go directly onto the seed. The Y-Not is insurance against fertilizer burn. The Y-Not can be used with a Bullet Check Valve. The holder in the Kit acts as a guide, keeping the disc from rubbing on the 1/4" fertilizer or chemical hose. The Bullet Check Valve comes in either 3# or 6#. It is inserted into the "Y" with a special tool (sold sep.). It stops the flow at the point of application when the pump is shut off. No drip, no mess, and no rust!
