About Schaffert Mfg.

Taking no-till farming to the next level

Established in 1991, Schaffert Mfg. has been creating profitable seed solutions for a variety of planters and drills.

Our products are designed by farmers, for farmers. With the passing of each planting season, we sit down and discuss the new changes that would not only make our Rebounder® a better product, but also our other profitable seed solutions.

We take precision farming to the next level, by understanding the needs of farmers and staying ahead of the latest changes in the industry. Working in the field, we learn from experience to know our customers needs and improve our products. Our products then endure rigorous field tests, making them dependable for years to come.

History

Frank Lessiter presenting Paul Schaffert with 1976 No-Till Farmer of the Year award

Paul Schaffert, CEO of Schaffert Mfg., started farming when he was in high school and from there he took it to the next level by designing innovative attachments.

In 1976, Paul was awarded the No-Till Farmer of the year and that granted him the exposure he needed to start his own business and promote non-traditional farming practices. Paul also became a Buffalo equipment dealer, giving him greater exposure to farmers wanting to try something new.

This was the real beginning of his short-line equipment company and that ultimately led to the development and patenting of several no-till planter attachments and related equipment.

In 2005, Paul received No-Till Farmer’s No-Till Innovator award in the area of Business & Service. This achievement recognized Paul’s exemplary leadership and contributions to advancement in no-till farming.

Today, Paul, along with his excellent staff, continually look for ways to improve farming practices
